Default How to remove pesky folder?

Yikes! When I did that, and opened that profile, all my calendar,
tasks, contact info, etc. did not get retained. :-(

I would like to simply delete the folders no longer in use due to fact
the account(s) was closed (I'm still puzzled why they are showing up
since I did close the accounts within OL).

Actually, I could probably live without OL mail (just use another
program). Is there a way to open OL, with a new mail profile, and
have all my calendar information available?

Thanks again,

Howie

Control Panel-Mail Icon-Profiles-New. As for your other question, it depends on what type of folders these are - do they belong to the IMAP account or your .pst?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

After furious head scratching, Howie asked:

| Thanks for the direction. When I go under the "New" menu bar, I don't
| find "profile". Is there an easy way to do this? Can I effectively
| utilize all my existing folders sans the one which although it doesn't
| exist is still listed?

||| Running OL2003, I've removed an IMAP mail account via the
||| Tools/Email Accounts procedure, but the high-level IMAP account
||| folder remains under my "All Mail Folders"/"Personal Folders" list.
