"upgrading" to 2007 is the stupidest thing I ever did. I should have
stayed illegal on my old employer's 2000, but noooo. I had to be one of the good guys and buy a license from the new employer, who only had 2007. Grrr. Outlook appears to be seriously UNcustomizable for my use. How do I get tasks that have not "started" yet to not show in the To-Do pad or whatever it's called in the lower right corner. Previous version only showed items that had started and changed their color when they were overdue. I have a recurring task every week that used to show up on the list one at a time. Now I have a repetitive list of the same thing that I have to hover over to see if it's the right time to check it off. And then there's the reminder to turn my mattress every two months, and it sits there, and sits there... I don't want to friggin see it until I need to see it! I have clicked and tweaked everything I can think of. If I give something a start date, I don't want to see it until it has started! Any help is appreciated. -- Brandy Alexandre The measure of a man's real character is what he would do if he knew he never would be found out. -- Thomas Babington Macaulay |

If you right click and then add filter of anything that will not be found
i.e. from: "zzzzzzzzzzzz". As long as nothing is from "zzzzzzzzzzzz" nothing will show PS: I agree with you about the lack of custom ization -- Neil "It's the Principle!" wrote in message ...
