Default lost here...

I have a problem with my Outlook. I feel dumb that I can't fix it. I am
missing the headers in my reading pane. Not missing them when I print...
just missing them in the reading pane. I have tried to start Outlook with
the /safe switch but it didn't help. I have Outlook 2003, IE6(if that
matters) and XP. My system is fully patched. I think this problem happened
when I applied the patches yesterday or when I installed the conversion
tools for Office (to allow me to read 2007 documents, etc...). Has anyone
had this problem or is there a checkbox I am missing somewhere? TIA.
