This problem is really kicking me in the ass... I can't understand it,
let alone explain it... I created a form for a work related project... it's doing three different things... 1. On my computer (where it was created), it's fine. 2. On my bosses computer, one lousy label is extending itself from the nominal 150 pixels (just long enough for the text to display) to nearly 600!!! This is pushing the adjacent field away from where it needs to be. 3. I then sent the form to a co-workers computer... and when he runs it, there is NOTHING THERE! No form! ARG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am ready to kill Outlook. All machines in question are running Outlook 2003, SP2. There are other issues, but I have found work-arounds. I am really beginning to wonder if the last batch of MS updates haven't killed me with this... Thanks for any insight you all can provide. a. |

Fixed it...
the label in question had the "resize with form" option ticked ON. I don't know how that happened... it was the only label like that, out of 10+ labels. Hell, I even replaced the original label expecting that to make it go away. Most odd. |

By "when it is run," do you mean when the user creates a new item with the form? Where is the form published?
By blank, do you mean that there is no data in controls that should be showing data? FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for Outlook forms issues "down the hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms or, via web interface, at http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...rogram_f orms -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook 2007 Programming: Jumpstart for Power Users and Administrators http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=54 "bogus" wrote in message ups.com... Some of the computers are fine, others are not. When I say "run," I mean the OFT file is clicked on, initiating Outlook. thanks! a. |
