Default PopUps - Keyboard ShortCuts ... ?

Hello:

So here's my issue/question:

I'm running outlook 2003, and at times when creating a new email, or
replying to one, a pop up window come up, like the save to window ...
So without realizing it, I keep typing away until i notice I've type half of
email in the save to box/pop up window.

Is there a preference for shortcut I can turn off?
Because I'm thinking I'm using a combination of keys (shortcuts) strokes
which are bringing this pop up windows?

thank in advance for any feedback on this:

-J
