Default rss feed folder

Well...have you clicked on that little plus sign (+) to the left of the RSS
Feeds folder? It will expand to show all of the feeds you have signed up
for...oh...did you sign up for any feeds?

that number is the number of messages in that folder, not the total of
unread in subfolders
there are 6 feeds
for some reason messages were being delivered to that top level folder. i
fixed the config so it goes to the proper subfolder, but those that were
delivered to the top folder i can't access
all 6 feeds show 0 unread

"that number is the number of messages in that folder, not the total of

about number of messages or unread messages...

Default rss feed folder

your previous statement about expanding the folders to show u all the feeds
that are subscribed to made it sound as though u were implying the unread
number at the root showed the total for all folders

expanding the tree of rss folders has nothing to do with the 104 unread
messages on the root folder

Hmmm...that's quite a leap from "It will expand to show all of the feeds you
have signed up for..." to showing totals of unread numbers. I never used the
words "unread", "total", or "number". I thought my original post was fairly
succinct. Good luck...

Default rss feed folder

your first reply made no sense in reference to my original question
i stated that outlook was showing unread messages in the root rss folder and
when i click on that folder it only gives me the about rss feed info, how to
subscribe, etc and could not access those messages

your first reply was regarding expanding the rss tree and if i had any
subscribed feeds...had nothing to do with the original problem

i resolved it myself my accessing the folder through owa and cleaned out the
root rss folder

Default rss feed folder

Seth is totally right.
When subscribing to some RSS feeds via Outlook, a subfolder is NOT
automatically created, for some it is.
When the subfolder is not automatically created the unread mail are
shown in parenthesis for the root folder, however the items canot be
accessed. I could access them via the Unread Mail search folder. The
root folder only displays a sort of welcome message from Microsoft.
