Has anyone ever figured out this problem?
"Task 'pop.earthlinl.net - Sending' reported error (0x800401F): "The operation failed. An object could not be found.'" I have tried all the instructions from both Earthlink and Mircosoft many time without success. TIA-Hopefully- Roberta Johnson |

I assume that is a typo in the error message you wrote below...but if you
did a copy-and-paste of the error message, then you spelled "earthlink" wrong in the account setup. Tim "Roberta Johnson" wrote in message nk.net... Has anyone ever figured out this problem? What version of Outlook? Do you get it when you send any messages, or specific messages? What OS? Has it ever worked in its current configuration? Has it ever worked on that machine in a different client? -- f.h. |

Well, since my laptop had issues that could only be resolved by resetting
it, I tried setting up Outlook 2003 first instead of Earthlink's proprietary Total Access Software. And I can now use Outlook. Apparently the issue was a conflict between the 2. Thank you to those who answered, sorry if my typos in the message below made you think I had mistyped and caused my own problem. Roberta "Roberta Johnson" wrote in message nk.net...
