What in the world has happened. This morning, I was trying to view my
calendar in Outlook 2007 and when doing so, my Outlook locks up and ultimately have to kill the process. This happens every time I try this. I can get to my contacts, email, NOTEs, etc...just fine. Just not the Calendar. For grins, I went into the Web Interface of my Exchange account to make sure I could still read the calendar(and others) via this interface. I worked just fine. At work today, I export my Exchange Account into a PST file and loaded into Outlook 2003(I don't have 2007 license at work). Anyways, this worked just fine. And to top it off, I generated a .PRF file from my provider and created a new profile in 2003 and it loaded just fine with all of my current Mailbox settings(as expected). I could read and maintain my Calendar just fine here too. So at this point, I am stuck as to what to do next. I have been using 2007 or a few weeks now and really like the newer features. Especially the ability to export/email the .ICS(iCal file - is that the right file that I am thinking of). Well I can't get back to calendar to confirm this either. I don't like the way that HTML is viewed(plenty of other posts ranting over this) but feel like this may be resovled later in life via a Service Pack. So - does anyone have any idea on how to resolve. It seems that it may be local to my Vista PC although I was able to load another calendar PST file that is local to this laptop? For the record, I am using 2003 exchange account the best I can tell. So - are there other ways to extract my calendar into .ICS iCal file. I could go back to 2003 if that is the issue. Like I said, I just like "some" of the newer features. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. --Mickey A. |

Thanks for the idea(s). I did try that after posting this question. It
didn't work though. I ended up creating a new PROFILE. That worked but I had to rebuild a few things. My Server(Exchange) mail, calendar and contacts all synched up just fine. I will delete the OLD profile in a few days after I am absolutely sure every thing synched. Thanks for the reply. --Mick "Diane Poremsky" wrote in message ... try opening outlook using the /cleanviews switch. http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/switches.htm -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Mickey A" wrote in message ...
