Outlook Express can process email and newsgroups. It has no calendaring or task management features. If you want a calendar in an Outlook Express environment, the INternet has many you can download. Alternatively, you can use Outlook instead. -- Brian Tillman -- Brian Tillman |

There are so many messages whose subject is just "outlook" that there's no good way for me to locate that. Perhaps if you had used a more distinctive subject it would have been possible. -- Brian Tillman |

I recieve these msgs when i try to use (Office 2003's) Outlook....
---------------------------------- Task 'Gmail - Receiving' reported error (0x80040900) : 'The server name you entered can not be found on the network (it might be down temporarily). Please verify that you are online and that the server name is correct.' --------------------------------- Task 'Gmail - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC7D) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) server does not support SSL-secured connections. If SSL-secured connections have worked in the past, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).' ------------------------------------ But Windows' default outlook express works on my computer. I am using a Local Area Network and the main server is attached to a DSL. "Brian Tillman" wrote in message ... The first indicates that the server name you're using can't be found. Either there is a networking issue, a domain name service issue, or you've not specified the server name correctly. If you use nslookup at a command prompt, does the server name resolve? The second indicates you have the "Use SSL" option checked in the account settings. DIsable it and see what happens.
