I'm trying out Microsoft Outlook 2007. Whenever I try to respond to an email
by clicking on a link in the message I get the following error message: "General failure. URL is http://............... Application not found." What do I do to get these links to work? |

This is probably caused by a wayward default browser setting. Please try the
following steps: 1.. change your default browser back to Internet Explorer (temporarily) 2.. after you have done step 1, then change your default browser back to chosen browser name -- Thanks greg mansius [MSFT] Microsoft Office Outlook Support This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Hello Mr. Mansius.
Then I must change the hope here... I'm having Safari 4 as standard browser, I've been using Safari for several years on XP and Vista. Here's the problem: I'm using Office Outlook 2007 (Outlook alone - not the rest of the office) I'm using Safari 4 (standard browser), and having Internet Explorer 8 installed too. Problem: Even after doing what You said, it's giving the same error. Started yesterday with this error... Any comments to that? Btw. I'm using an Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Windows XP Pro SP3 Danish. -- Best Regards Mr. Hansen, Denmark. "Greg Mansius [MSFT]" skrev: This is probably caused by a wayward default browser setting.
