Did you create a profile for Outlook to use for incoming/outgoing mail?

When you install Outlook, you can't just start it up and have it work without
specifying a mail address, servers for incoming and outgoing mail, etc. The information is available from your ISP (internet service provider). Just like any other software, before you can use Outlook, it must be
configured. The configuration is stored in what is called "Outlook Profile". Kathleen is correct, ask your internet provider for the settings. Of course. Email is the only feature in Outlook which requires
configuration. You can use the rest of the features such as Calendar, Journal, Notes, and Contacts, without configuring anything. Who's your internet provider? Verizon?
