Can't send e-mails using Outlook 2003
I just loaded Outlook 2003 on my computer yesterday and I can send an e-mail
to myself, but all other e-mails I send are returned with an error message "not allowed". Does anyone know why? Thanks! -- april

Can't send e-mails using Outlook 2003
Are you using an outgoing mail (SMTP) server that's on your ISP's network?
Otherwise you might get the error you're seeing "april" wrote in message ... I just loaded Outlook 2003 on my computer yesterday and I can send an to myself, but all other e-mails I send are returned with an error message "not allowed". Does anyone know why? Thanks!

Yes. My ISP is adelphia and the incoming (POP3) and outgoing (SMTP) is the
same: mail.adelphia.net. I know all of the settings are correct, but for some reason adelphia is telling me that this is a microsoft issue. Do you have the text of the error message that you're getting?

That's normally the error you see when you're not on the network containing
