Not using stationery. To create the signature I went to TOOLS, then OPTIONS,
then MAIL FORMAT, then SIGNATURES, then created a new signature in the box provided, hit OK, etc. Thanks! -- april "Diane Poremsky" wrote: are you using stationery for your message? how did you create the signature? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "april" wrote in message ... I created a signature in Outlook 2003 and when I compose a new message the signature is invisible. Once the message is composed, if I run my cursor over the signature I can see it's there but in order for it to be visible I then have to go to font and change it to black in order for it to be visible in the final message. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks! -- april |

I actually set the color to black. But I just created a new one (started all
over) and now it's appearing correctly. Must have just been some sort of glitch. Thanks for your help! -- april "Diane Poremsky" wrote: so you used all the defaults and no stationery, so it should be black text on white... I'd check the signature and apply black as the text color. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "april" wrote in message ...
