Like countless others, I need to be able to reply to email messages in
a way that distinguishes my comments from the original, and breaks apart the original message--a brilliant tactic that was discovered in the early 90s. But Microsoft continues to put the original message in a block with that awful line, preventing the reply from breaking it up. Now, I am glad to see the option in rich text, but I cannot get it to do this in HTML. Nor can I figure out how to force Outlook to convert HTML messages into rich text. In other words, I'm telling Outlook to only use the prefix, but it's telling me that Microsoft spent more time spying on Apple and developing eye candy GUI than it did on making option-rich, improved products. Has anyone found a way to correct the problems I'm having? Other posts on this topic do not mention my specific problems. Thanks, John |
