Default Delayed sending

I can't turn off the Delayed sending check box. I just want to use it every
once in a while. Outlook changes the delayed send date to today's date and
doesn't send, plus every email I want to send, Outlook checks the box for
delay. So what I'm basically saying is my email isn't getting sent.

This is not a good thing
what do I do?
