Is there any way to change outlooks (2003) timezone while leaving windows
timezone intact?
Basically we have a terminal server with users in different time zones.
Some of them use old Wyse Thin Clients that don't support setting a time
zone, so we can't redirect to the local device's time zone.
I see there is an option to set an alternate time zone for calander items,
but is there anyway to get this alternate time zone to also change the
display time of emails in the inbox?

ToolsOptionsCalendar OptionsTime Zome, but in my opionion, you're asking
for trouble if Outlook's time zone/DST settings don't match the Windows
settings on the machine where Outlook runs. Try using the "Show an
additional time zone" option insteadd.

which effects all users.

No it doesn't. What I described shows a second time zone within Outlook.
It doesn't touch the Windows time zone. What did I say that makes you
believe so?

The adding an aditional time zone updates the calander, but doesn't change
the time shown for when mail arrives.

Outlook's time zone should be changed to match the Windows timezone, not the
other way around.

Does it really matter what time the messages say? Calendar items, I can
see, but messages?
