I am just setting it up now, and I type in my User Name and password (like I
am supposed to) and the screen keeps popping back up asking me again. There is no error message, just tells me to do it again. |

Yahoo.com requires paid accounts to use their POP3/SMTP servers; otherwise, all you get is the HTTP webmail interface to freebie Yahoo.com accounts. YahooPOPs can be used as a local POP3/SMTP-to-HTTP proxy (you connect your POP3/SMTP client to YahooPOPs when then connects to Yahoo's webmail). There are some regional Yahoo domains that still permit POP3/SMTP access. I don't use them but some users have said Yahoo.co.uk and Yahoo.co.au still provide POP3/SMTP access for freebie accounts. |
