Default Outlook has a problem on close

Every time I exit Outlook I get the message that Outlook has hit some problem and needs to close. I have run the diagnostic and it reported that it had fixed one problem but this faulyt screen still keeps popping up. I an running XP Pro SR2 with all updates to date and Office 2007 Enterprise version.

The fault message I get when I go to Event Viewer is:Faulting application outlook.exe, version 12.0.6023.5000, stamp 46574050, faulting module dccmsp32.dll, version 10.0.2000.929, stamp 39d4133c, debug? 0, fault address 0x00005346.""

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx

What happens if you start Outlook in its safe mode ("outlook.exe
/safe") to eliminate loading any installed add-ons to Outlook and then
exiting Outlook? If that works then an add-on is your problem.

If an add-on is your program, have you yet right-clicked on the
dccmsp32.dll file to see who is listed as the author and perhaps seen
a program title under the Version tab for properties on that file. I
have that file and it appears to be from Symantec for Winfax. If
Outlook worked okay in its safe mode, see what happens if you disable
the Fax Server add-on in Outlook, exit Outlook, reload Outlook, and
then check what happens when you exit again.

I had the same problem. Discovered it was the add-on Microsoft Outlook
Backup, uninstalled, re-installed, problem solved.

I renamed dccmsp32.dll and my problem was solved. Just hope that file is not needed by Winfax or some other app.
