I am running Windows XP and using MS Outlook 2003 for e-mail.

I thought I would send a file, so I attached it to the e-mail message.
Later, I decided against sending the file as an attachment and deleted the
file from the attachment box on the message. When I went to send, I
received an error message stating that the message would not be sent because
I deleted an attachment. How would I FORCE Outlook to send a message in this
situation?

Thank you,

Barry Karas

What if you close the message (saving it to drafts in the process) then
reopen it and try to send?

The most current drafts are from May 2, 2007. Nothing, absolutely nothing,
is in there since.

Right, but have you saved anything there since?

That's why there's nothing there, but not why you can't send. It would be a
good test, next time you're unable to send, to save the message to Drafts
and close the message. Then go to Drafts and open the message there and
send it.
