Default Icons after upgrade to Outlook 2003

Small item to question, but I notice that when the upgrade was done,
complete with SP3 the desktop icon and system tray icon for Outlook 03
does not take on the light tan color of the program's typical icon,
but retains the darker golden color of Outlook 2000. Reasons?

Am I also correct the 03 does not play a mail notification sound when
the program opens, or when you manually do a send/receive, but only
when it receives during its own time out?

TIA
