Default Making a calendar appointment

How do I make a calendar appointment when I have a contact open? I see how
to email a meeting but I don't want to do this just to make the appoinment.
As far as I can see the only way do do this is to open the calendar and
enter from there.

regards,

Beemer

Probably the easiest way is to drag and drop the closed Contact to the
Calendar icon. Use right-click drag and drop.

Bill,

This does not work for me as it is still trying to send an email to the
contact. I just want to be able to enter this contact as a meeting in the
calendar

Beemer

Because you are using left-click drag and drop which defaults to a new
Meeting. use right-click drag and drop and choose an Appointment option.
