![]() I had the same problem. I backed up my accounts and rules, deleted my outlook data file in control panel, went into outlook and re-entered my email address, etc. Things worked fine after that. I guess my Outlook data file was corrupted. Thank you for the help. Regards, Phil "Vetteacher" wrote: Your post did give me an idea and I'm in, thanks! I just recently installed Office 2007 professional (Windows XP home) and everything works fine, except Outlook. The program froze when I first tried to open it. It offered to open in safe mode the next time I tried to open it and froze again trying to open. I have used detect and repair from both trying to open Outlook and from add/remove programs. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office. I have run Microsoft diagnostics twice and it found nothing. At this point, it tries to open and then I get an error message that Outlook didn't proprly close my folders and can't open the window. Any suggestions on what to try now? Thanks! |
