Default OUTLOOK 2007

I have just downloaded the trial version "OFFICE PROFESSIONAL 2007" but
whenever i try to open Outlook it tells me "Microsoft Outlook has encountered
a problem and needs to close".

It will not allow me to start at all, but there is no error details
(number), just that it needs to close, and does so continually.
I have deleted the trial and re-installed same but to no avail. Anybody any
ideas??

Have you been using an older version of OUTLOOK prior to this, or will this be the first time of ever using it?
