You don't say what version of Exchange is in play here. Your IT person is clearly not competent if he says everything is okay from his end if you cannot connect from your end.
How are you trying to set up your Exchange account? Please post the exact steps you are taking. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Version Exchange is 2003 Small Business. My access is via http.
Here's how my computer is set up. I'm having exactly the same problem. I've copied all of my server
settings from an older computer with Office 2003 and I can connect when in the office, but not from anywhere else. We do have a VPN, but according to my I/T guy he's added my new system to the list of approved computers. We're running Exchange 2003. I'm at a loss. Thanks, Chris |
