Default can't open msg file

in some machines i can't open emails saved as msg file.
what can be the problem?

Version of Outlook?
Type of e-mail account?
Are these .msgs in forwarded emails or are they .msgs saved to the PC?

Default can't open msg file

these are income and sent emails saved in disk as customer archive so every
user in the office
can read it in his machine. all users use outlook 2003 but some can open the
files and some not.
those who can't, can't open even files saved in the same machine.

yes.
i just uninstalled Google Desktop and it is working
is there a way to fix the problem without uninstalling Google Desktop ?
