I have ACT! 6.0.3.979 and Outlook 2007 - just purchased Outlook -
running on Vista. I have installed ACT! 6.0 on this computer and it seems to be running fine. When I run the BCM import wizard on my ACT! database (which runs fine in ACT!) I get the message "The specified file is not a valid database for the currently installed version of ACT (6.0.3.979)..." I have run this database in ACT and it runs fine. I have run ACTDiag on it and have all green check marks. I notice that I can't get a "full" version number of the database from ACTDiag - it says only that it is version 6.0 - it doesn't give the full version number. Has anyone seen this problem before? Any suggestions? I have about 2,000 records in ACT that MUST come over to Outlook for it to be usable for us - if I can't get this conversion to work I am going to have to stay with ACT. Thanks in advance. Mike Girdner Worth Hydrochem |

Mike Girdner Worth Hydrochem- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - I haven't had time to try this yet, but I was hoping to avoid it because I have a lot of Notes and History's in ACT that I need to import into Outlook and from what I can tell this may not be possible exporting to a CSV file then importing into Outlook. I have just been so busy that I haven't had time to really look into it and try it. Mike Girdner Worth Hydrochem |

You will probably have better luck posting in the Business Contact Manager group, microsoft.pubic.outlook.bcm.
