I have a user who reads mail directly from his Unread Mail folder. He
then deletes the mail using the "x" delete button on the open mail toolbar, but instead of sending the (now marked read) mail to the Deleted Items folder, they remain in the Inbox. I created a new profile for him and the problem went away for a few days. Now it's back. He is not using any kind of synching device. He is using Outlook 2003 with mail from our Exchange 2003 server. I've tried restoring the default values on the Unread Mail folder, but that made no difference. His reading pane options are to mark an item as read when the selection changes, if that makes a difference. If anyone has an idea what to try next, I'd sure be grateful. Thanks! |
