Is it possible to have Outlook open up a specific Inbox?

Yes. But need more detail as to which (inbox). Some call an Inbox any folder within Outlook and some have more than 1 identity. Please make yourself clear when posting so as you can get an answer correctly

Outlook uses PROFILES not "identities"....

Default Is it possible?

I would like to have Outlook open the Hotmail account that I configured so
that I don't always have to click on the + sign to expand and view my mail.

How's that?

Tools - options - Other (tab) - Advanced Options - Startup in
Folder (set your desired folder here)
