Default Selecting emails from backup

I have backed up my emails in Outlook but wonder how I could view an
individual email from the backup file? I know I could restore but wouldn't
that overwrite my existing emails and wouldn't it restore all the emails
when I only want to view one?
Thanks
Tony

Restore to a different path or to a different filename. Then open the
restored .pst using File - Open in Outlook.
