There is no "express" in the name of this newsgroup. Post in a
newsgroup that deals with Outlook EXPRESS.

Also, when you do post over in the OE newsgroup, you better be a hell
of lot more detailed than you were here. You really expect focused
replies from such a vague question equivalent to "it doesn't work"?

It is most likely that your work network has a mechanism in place to
block outbound SMTP mail (many viruses use this technique). It may be
that your work network has its own mechanism for sending outbound mail,
and you would have to use that, but you'd need help from local network
experts for this. You'd also have problems setting up different SMTP
servers depending on your location.

An easier approach might be to use something like gmail, which works
anywhere where web access works.

Do you ask your auto mechanic how to set a broken leg or whether or not two
drugs will interact? People who can answer Office Outlook questions read
this newsgroup. People who can answer Outlook Express questions read the
Outlook Express newsgroup.
