How do I make sure I have instant search installed, and if I do, how do I
enable it? I can't figure that out from the "help" stuff that comes with Outlook. Thanks. Candy |

Which OS are you using? It is in Vista, needs installed on XP. Do you see a
yellow infobar near the search box? If not, I think its already installed - check in Control panel, add/remove programs. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pro...h/default.mspx -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Candy" wrote in message ... Hi Diane,
I have Windows XP. I don't think it is installed. What exactly is it called if I look for it in the control panel? I don't think I see it. I don't see an info bar that looks like it needs clicking on, either. What is that link in your message for? Is that where I can go to download it?
