Hello,

I customised the view such that on the left I have my folder list with all
folders visible.
When I click on the calendar, three months calendar appears through the top
of the folder list (that is, just under it.)
And hence the "all outlook items" are under it.

I dont want this to happen. I dont want to see any calendar of months, but
jsut the main big calander on the right.

How can i close the calendars which appear on the top so that the "all
outlook items" appear on the top.

I was able to do this in outlook 2003....

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot eliminate the Date Navigator from
the Navigation Pane except by using the To Do bar. However, you could
display the To Do bar, and then collapse it. It wouldn't be very intrusive
in that case.

It turns out that minimizing the To Do list will put the Date Navigator back
above the folder list. If you drag the To Do's left edge toward the right,
however, you can make it much smaller. As long at you don't reduce its size
to the minimum, the Date Navigator will remain mostly obscured on the right
side.

Then the prigram looks weird.
But thanks for the effort in finding a solution to my problem.

I like outlook but i think ms could not still settle things down with
outlook.
The calendar was looking better in 2003, with its classic style.

Some 'view' options are too complicated under the menus.
You change sth and then you have to try hard to get back to the original
sertting of an feature.

Moreover outlook still does not support newsgroups.
And i dont udnerstand why.

Looking forward to an outlook where there a ribbon, where newsgroups
supported....

Outlook is maybe the second most important in the office package....
Ms should work more on it i think...
