Outlook Authentication Issues
Environment: Outlook 2003, Exchange 2003, Single Domain,
Periodically, I get a prompt to enter my login credentials when opening outlook. I've been using this network for at least 2 years, and this has never happened. Furthermore, this issue is not happening to everyone. I believe I've received this complaint from one other person about six months ago. Any ideas? Thanks, d|ano

Thanks, d|ano I have had this is before and it is usually because it can't find the domain information after it gets interupted and it thinks it is offline. After it is offline it sometimes loses the authentication so you have to enter in the username as DOMAIN\USERNAME instead of just the user name.
