Hi
I'm deploying a citrix environment and would like to change the default pst (outlook 2007) location to the home drive of the user. So when the user starts outlook 2007 for the first time, the file is created in the personal folder instead of c:\documents and settings \... any clues? cheers! |

yes
i know it's not recommended, but it's the only option. We have several load balanced citrix servers, which means that a user can start a session on server 1 today, but tomorrow that could be server 3 ... But if his pst is on server 1 and he's working on 3 ... I figured if you can change to location manually, it can also be done automatically? cheers! |

Outlook needs continual read/write access to the PST. Place it on a networked
drive and not the local machine and even the slightest interruption to the connection or traffic can corrupt the PST. -- Kathleen Orland - MVP Outlook Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ http://www.howto-outlook.com/ " wrote: yes i know it's not recommended, but it's the only option.
