In Outlook 2003, I have my e-mail inbox and my boss's inbox. Our server
recently crashed and it has been rebuilt, but a setting has changed. In the past I could monitor his e-mail by viewing and/or reading it and there must have been a timeframe scheduled (30 seconds or so), where it would not be unhighlighted as read, but would stay bolded as unread mail. Now, with the rebuilt server, as soon as I click on his e-mail in the left-side pane, the e-mail is unbolded and I have to click on each e-mail to bold "mark as unread." Is there a setting that could be changed so that I didn't have to go through this process each and every time? Thank you for your help. |

The correct path is ToolsOptionsOtherReading Pane. Please try to be more accurate when you post. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Hi Brian:
Thanks for this correct information -- I thought I was losing my mind trying to find the information on a general tab. I have found it through your accurate instructions and appreciate the correction and help!
