Hi All,
A user had a web base application stop functionning on his laptop. I narrowed the problem to the users profile but I couldn,t find the problem in the profile so I copied it to another profile (using the tool in the computers advanced properties). It took almost an houer, the profile is 5.4Gb in size. I deleted the faulty profile and recreated it. I then copied back the faulty profile minus a few folders (from the non-working application) to the users newly created profile and the application reinstalled itself and now works. The user lost acces to his PST files so I set them up again in Outlook. The files are local. But the user now tells me that the stuff newer than november 2006 is missing. My question is: is there a way to find the right configuration in Outlook to reinstall the PST files ? The only PST files on the users laptop are missing the recent files. What would you do ? |
