I keep receiving messages in Outlook that come through as scrambled text and
the only legible part says: "This is a multi-part message in MIME format." Other people can view these messages fine as they are sent to my collegues but my computer doesn't seem to accept them. Please help?! |

what version of Outlook? What type of email account do you use? Is that text
visible in the message body? -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Azza" wrote in message ... Hi Diane
I am using Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, Windows Vista Basic, I am with optus, I don't know what you mean by the type of account? My outgoing mail server is a "pop". Yes that text is visible in the email along with a little more legible things such as the senders email address but the rest of te email is made up of letter as numbers. Cheers! Microsoft is looking into it. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Hi Brian
That is exactly how the messages are coming through. Do you have any idea how long before Microsoft can fix this problem?
