Is there a web tutorial? My email won't send pictures, sometimes sends and
receives all messages in duplicate. I have "muddled" through the various
settings and believe I've succeeded only in making things worse. I was
hoping to find some "Return to Default" but there doesn't seem to be that
option.

I have also tried without success to be able to receive .exe files when I
know the sender so that I can download some neat programs. Seems to me that
Outlook 2002 cannot be altered to download .exe files, ever when you know
the source. Any suggestions?

I use Outlook only for email send, receive, and read with and without
attachments. Should I dump the Outlook and use Outlook Express for this
purpose? Wondering if it would be less complicated.

You can always start with a clean mail profile.

How do I "start with a clean mail profile"?

Do you have any idea why my Outlook is not sending Picture attachments?

My PC email address also sends emails back to my laptop. The picture
attachments are intact and will open on the copy of the email that goes back
to the laptop with XP OS, but do not appear in the copy of the mail that
goes to my PC with the Vista OS.

Possibly because you are using Rich Tesxt format for your messages and only
other Outlook users can read Rich Text attachments.

This says to me even more that you're using Rich Text format, but don't
realize it. Open yoiur Contacts folder on the Outlook PC and double-click
the e-mail address of the contact you're using to send to one of the Vista
PCs. You should see an "E-mail Properties" dialogue with an "Internet
format" drop-down at the bottom. That drop-down should read "Let Outlook
decide the best sending format". If you see "Send using Outlook Rich Text
format", that will override whatever you have chosen in ToolsOptionsMail
Format.
