Windows XP SP2 - all patched and up to date
Outlook 2003 - all patched and up to date Box for "My outgoing server requires authentication" is unticked and always has been. From today I keep getting sent emails returned to me with the message: host virus-mx.bur.connect.com.au[210.8.230.18]said: 554 5.7.1 : Relay access denied (in reply to RCPT TO command) This is with all addresses I'm sending to. Everything's been fine until today and I haven't changed anything. I read that I should tick the box about authentication but then read elsewhere that it should remain unticked. Other people have said they ticked it and it made no difference but there was no resolution except to change something in the hosts file. Does anyone else know about this? Thanks. |
