Default Outlook Express Off

I just upgraded from 2003 to Microsoft 2007 and imported folders from
Outlook Express so I can switch to use Outlook. Now I have both on computer.
Do I have to set Outlook as default? If so, how? And do I delete Express
then? And how? All my memory just got utilized when I imported my files to
Outlook. Help! thanks.

set outlook as default in Control panel, internet options, programs tab.
don't delete oe, but you can delete the acct from it if you want. or just
leave it but never open it...

thanks so much! I'm going to keep oe but how do I delete the account from oe?
and when I imported oe to outlook it took so much of my memory up. I had
trouble importing and would cancel & restart. I think I saw 4 files with
outlook somewhere, but I forget where. Do you know where I can check this?
thanks for the "how to" links too!
