Hi, All:
For some reason known but to the computer - and certain others - small (40k or less) attachments are not opening when I double-click on them. They appear in the attachment line as small, yellow envelopes, along with a description of size and title. When I right-click on the logo, the options are minimal: Open, Save As, etc. If I click Open, nothing happens. If I save it to my H.D. and try to open it with Word, Excel, Paint, or other programs, there is no success. Any ideas? |

How about upgrading Google Desktop Search to the latest version, uninstalling it, or telling it not to index ..msg files. -- -f.h. |

It is an .msg file. And, After checking EVERYWHERE for an answer, I found
someone's post - 'fcampos' - in Tech Republic who figured out a solution. It worked like a charm. Here is their post: "I found it. "There seems to be an incompatibility issue with the latest version of Google Desktop. "I had to go into Tools-Options-Other-Advanced Options-Add-in Manager and uncheck the box beside "Google Desktop Search Outlook Addin". "I hope this help someone else." Well, it certainly helped me. Thank you, "fcampos". ![]() And, thank you F.H.Muffman for putting me on the right track. Ernie "F.H. Muffman" wrote in message . com...
