Outllook process won't end when exiting

Default Outllook process won't end when exiting

In Outlook 2003 SP2, when I exit outlook, the application closes, but the
processes doesn't end. I still find OUTLOOK.exe in the Task Manager. I
also still have the outlook icon in the system tray.

Does anyone know what is causing this. I also use ActiveSync to synchronize
my smartphone with outlook but the ActiveSync process isn't running all the
time. I get the same outlook problem regardless of weather the Activesync
processes are running.

Any ideas, help, etc.

As long as your phone is cradled, Outlook is running. Here are some other
things to look for:

What about when my phone is NOT cradled...I still have the same problem.
