Default Word as editor

Thanks again Diane.

I ve only been using Outlook editor. Just that I wanted to know if I am
missing out on anything by not using Word. Like using tables and formatting
ease.

you can enable and disable word as the editor very easily, so you can test
it on your system. If you used Office XP or 2003, I'd tell you to try word
as the editor for 2 weeks, but with 2000, its really dependant on your
system and needs.

you'll have all the spelling and editing functions of Word if you use
word as your editor. As long as you use Outlook 2002 or later, the
responsiveness should be good - word was not recommended as the editor
in outlook 97 and not real good with outlook 2000 but each version since
is well worth using. In Outlook 2007, you need an office suite installed
to have the full editing capability of Word.

Hi,

Are there any advantages in using Word as the editor for messages over
doing it in Outlook itself?

Thanks for any inputs.

Ramesh
