Yes, task requests are apparently broken if you applied the January Outlook security update. Stay tuned.

The latest information we have is that some installations of the January update (MSKB 892843) may not completed successfully. Try this:
1) Use Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs to remove the update. 2) Create a couple of new task requests to test whether they're they're working. (Old ones will still be broken.) 3) If they are, try reinstalling the update, and then also install this update -- http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;913695 4) Test again. Let us know if this works for you. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "AndreZ" wrote in message ... I don't think Windows 2000 handles updates the same way as Windows XP. You may want to file a support incident with Microsoft since yours is a slightly different case from the usual end-user setup.
