Hi,

Is it possible to set up Outlook 2003 to have a Reply To: Sent to
address?

I have a number of emails that I send out on a daily basis to the
same email address that I sent an email to a day or so earlier. I
have been using the Reply to all button and deleting my email
address from the To: address field but would like to delete this
step if possible.

Is this possible?

Sure you can. Are you using POP/IMAP account or Exchange? If POP or IMAP
you can set it for every message in account settings. Or you can change it
per message for POP/IMAP and exchange on the Options dialog while composing
a message.

I am using a POP mail account on my ISP's mail server.

I don't need this as a default for every message but I do need it
for maybe 50% of the messages that I send out.

How do I set it up? My preference is for a taskbar button
similar to the "Reply to all" button but labeled "Reply to
receiver".

I checked the options menu and couldn't find any reference to
Reply to receiver. Nor could I find this option in the taskbar
settings. Could you point me in the right direction?

Well, now I'm not sure what you want - the 'reply to receiver' part leaves
me confused and I went back re-read your post. I'm not sure if you want a
Reply to address set for mail (so replies go to a different address than the
From address) or if you are going into sent and hitting reply to all - if
you are resending the same message over and over you need to open the
message and look on the Actions menu for Resend.

OK, it is pretty simple what I am doing and what I would like to
see as an option.

Each day I send my sister an email containing the latest Sudoku
puzzle. To do this I:-
1. hit the Reply to All button,
2. delete my email address from the To: field,
3. delete the for the title
4. delete the header info about the previous message - i.e.
----Original message ----, From, Sent, To, and Subject
5. edit the text in the body of the message adding a short
comment leaving most of the text intact,
6. hit the "insert file" paperclip button and select the latest
version of the Sudoku Excel file, and then
7. hit the send button.

This is one example - I would do similar things with 20 - 30
other messages each day. The only difference with these emails
is that they are text only so I add current information to the
existing body text in step 5 and omit step 6.

What I would like is a Reply to Receiver button that would
eliminate steps 2, 3 and 4.

I tried the Forward button but that still requires steps 1 to 7
but instead of deleting my email address in step 2 I have to add
the receivers email address. I am also uncertain if the
attached file is the current version or the version sent the
previous day.

I hope that this clears up any confusion about what I want. I
am starting to wonder if a macro is required to do what I want
done.

I want. is there a way that I can set this up as a button on
the Standard toolbar adjacent to the reply, Reply to all, Forward
buttons?

Are you forwarding a message you received? If not, wouldn't it be easier to
just send the excel file in a new message? you can either use file, send in
excel or right click on it in windows explorer and choose send to... you can
even make your own send to command with her address.

I hit send before I was finished.

Find the resend command and drag it to the toolbar. it works in Outlook
2007 (adding to the QAT).

Check on the View, Toolbar, Customize... look on the command tab.

Outlook 2003 must be different - I couldn't find resend listed
under any command option.

Under customize in Outlook 2003 the toolbars and commands are
separate menu options and I couldn't see how I could drag the
command to the toolbar.
