In my previous version of Firefox I had an icon for Outlook on the toolbar
(I forget how I configured that) so that when in Firefox I could click on the Outlook icon and check my email. Since updating Firefox the Outlook icon disappeared. I can open Outlook separately but it would be more convenient to open Outlook when in the browser when "you've got mail" sounds. Any help will be appreciated. |

it was probably a firefox add-on. Go to the Tools menu in FF and choose
Add-ons. Then search for new ones. I didn't find any that sounded right but maybe reviewing the list will refresh your memory. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. If you get an email notification that suggests that OL is running in the
background, and shown in the task bar, then what's wrong with opening OL from the task bar? Your Q regarding FF should be directed to a FF group. Convenient I wonder, it would seem your original setup of FF merely launched OL "Sidney Friedman" wrote in message ... You are correct. I had the outlook icon on the firefox toolbar which opened
the program when I wanted. There is no firefox newsgroup that I can find. "DL" address@invalid wrote in message ...
