I would like to archive certain mail for future reference but tested the
archive feature and found I cannot access archived items. The message I get when I try to open using Word is "archive.pst is locked for editing by 'another user'." |

Why would you think that you can view a PST using Word? Can you view a sound file using Notepad? Certainly not. Using Word to try to view a PST is no different. Outlook is the application you use to see the contents of a PST. -- Brian Tillman |

The only way you can view archived email in a text editor is to export to a mail client that uses Unix MBox format......Thunderbird comes to mind...... -- Gordon Burgess-Parker Interim Systems and Management Accounting www.gbpcomputing.co.uk |
