I have a similar problem but it is based on Outlook templates that I have
created and saved under a customized toolbar. When I click on a template in the toolbar, I get the warning message that the location may be unsafe. The templates are located in my C:\Documents and settings\User Name\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Templates. Is there a way to stop this warning? I have to access these templates multiple times during the work day. |

Don't open them through the windows explorer - go through the templates
dialog. You can add the Choose form command the toolbar so its faster to access. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. The Choose Form Dialog still makes it a number of clicks before you can open
the template, especially because it may not browse to the right location at first. This is another example of security settings being inflexible and causing productivity problems. There should be a way to disable the security warning, or white list certain files on the OS, especially template files CREATED IN OUTLOOK!!! |

if you use an exchange acct the admin may be able to relax security. or move
the templates to the default template folder. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. I am actually doing the same thing for my company. I need to have a
confidential message appear in the subject line of every email so I made a template and added it to the menu bar. The message is popping up every time even though it is on the local drive. Does anyone have a workaround to get rid of this message? I have access to the exchange server but I do not understand what the Default Template folder is on the exchange server? please explain any solution. |

Rather than using a template, publish it to your inbox- then open it from
the Actions menu. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. wrote in message ...
