I have posted this question before but no one seems to know the answer. I
cant believe nobody has a solution. Previous post = I cant seem to search for telephone numbers which have been typed into an appointment. Particularly once they have been altered into a hyperlink ie when you type tel:0111122223 followed by either a space or return in an appointment the number turns blue and underlined and gets altered to a hyperlink. But the numbers become invisible in search - even using the advanced search criteria? Can telephone numbers / hyperlinks be searched? you could search for tel No's in earlier versions of outlook what am I doing wrong. Thank you KC |

Thanks Diane
How would you search for part of a number. ie if you only knew part of the telephone number (and that part could be in the middle or the end) KC "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote in message ... Charles,
This is concerning searching a telephone number which has been inputed into an appointment, not a contact. Open an appointment then type tel:000000 or whatever number you wish, then (crucially) hit space or return and the number is converted to a hyperlink which if you then click it and have a modem conected will call the number.
