We just had Outlook 2003 installed at work. I have Outlook 2002 at home. I
tried to send home a calendar appointment via "Invite Attendees" (as I have for years so I keep my calendars synced) but when I got home the message didn't look like it used to and there was no way to "Accept" etc. so it automatically places it on my calendar. I can't believe the two aren't compatible, or did I do something wrong? |

What did the thing in your mailbox at home look like?

It looked like a normal email without the "such and such has requested a
meeting...etc" and no where to "accept" etc. and the part that was supposed to be the calendar entry looked like ... When: Friday, April 07, 2006 12:00 AM to Monday, April 10, 2006 12:00 AM (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada); Tijuana. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* "Vince Averello [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ... Hmmmm, I'm not sure but are you set to send iCal appointments? Check the
settings here in OL2003: Tools menu Options Calendar. "Stimpy" wrote in message ... I'll check that out Monday. Could it be that the new install of OL 2003 came
with MS Small Business Server 2003? and it filters incoming and outgoing email? (I have no clue about that server stuff, I know my 2002 calendar meetings work on 2003 but (so far) not the other way around. "Vince Averello [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ... That shouldn't have an effect but check the settings in Outlook and post
back on Monday. "Stimpy" wrote in message ... I'll check that out Monday. Looked today, it is already checked. I have no homemade forms associated
with either calendar, I can send appointments to OL 2003 from OL 2002 but not vice versa. Now I know the forms I did create (contacts) work w/ OL2003, I am thinking of switching "Vince Averello [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ...
